Generator launches an exciting opportunity for ten emerging artists looking to professionalise their music and take their career to the next level. The First Notes programme is funded by Youth Music and aims to support early career artists (aged 18-25) through the process of recording and releasing a piece of original music over the course of 6 months.
Successful applicants for the 6 month residency will work with professional producers in renowned recording studio Blank Studios to record, mix and master the tracks.
Participants will also receive industry advice and mentoring from artist manager and founder of Singing Light Music Bradley Kulisic who will guide them through their single release campaign strategy, offer distribution advice and help develop their artist identity.
Participants will attend a series of masterclasses, workshops and networking opportunities with focus on artist wellbeing, learning about performance rights, funding opportunities and developing live skills.
Artists will also receive PRS membership, with guidance on how to register original works, a performance showcase opportunity and the opportunity to complete a Trinity College accredited Arts Award
Applications are open until Monday 26th September, to apply or for more information, visit the website.
