Endless Window’s next instalment at Newcastle’s Cumberland Arms on Friday 20th April comes in the form of an exciting edition which features post-punk and theatrical performances, culminating in a truly overdue session with the critically acclaimed voice of Elisabeth Elektra.

Expect to enjoy your electro pop with a side of charming melancholy when Glasgow’s own Elisabeth Elektra graces the venue with her ethereal presence and unmissable song collection. She pretty much stole the show when she performed on Endless Window’s stage at NARC. Fest 2015, so don’t miss her stunning live exploits.

Also performing will be Brighton’s ‘queer gnostic post-punk’ band The Academy of Sun. Accepting the compliment of “highly fucking beautiful” by no less an authority than Julian Cope, The Academy of Sun is a shape-shifting nuance unashamedly influenced by an eclectic menu of post-punk, psychedelic rock and folk. Theatrical yet understated, we’re sure that Nick Hudson’s project will leave you in surreal wonder.

A healthy mix of instruments including drum machines, cello and guitars, make LA-based band Night Tongue ones to watch in terms of their niche musical offering of transgressive and energetic post-punk. There’s also exciting new alt. hip-hop/pop duo Badger, AKA Simeon Soden (aka/Mausoleums) and Chris Maltby.
