Get next year’s diary at the ready, one of the North East’s best festivals, Stockton Calling, have kick started their line-up announcements today, with Coventry legends The Enemy lined up to play the ARC stage.

The all-day event takes place at various venues in Stockton on Saturday 30th March, and with a mix of attention-grabbing headliners, exciting up and comers and superb local talent, the festival always proves to be a ‘must attend’ for music lovers.

The Enemy’s slot at ARC will provide a gritty and passionate headline performance. Chris Cobain, one of Stockton Calling’s programmers spoke about the booking; “We’d say they’re possibly one of the most underrated bands of their time, but every time they’ve played Teesside over the years they’ve smashed it out of the park – attracting huge interest whenever they play. This is just the start of announcements for us, and it’s great to be kicking off with such a belter.”

Festival co-programmer Jimmy Beck teases more good things to come: ““We’ve got a bag full of targets for next year – so it’s great to get things moving with this booking. Although we’re barely out of the summer, our thoughts are immediately turning to next springtime and we’re drawing up our shopping list for Stockton Calling 2024. We’re already getting calls and emails from interested bands – so, as usual, we’re expecting to be making some hard decisions about who we can offer slots to.”

Tickets for the festival are on sale now, priced at £40.
