The all-day festival announces their first wave of artists
Celebrating their fifth birthday this year, Darlington’s Last Train Home festival takes place on Saturday 3rd September and will welcome a host of live music and stand-up comedy to venues in the town.
This year the festival boasts five stages over three venues, The Forum Music Centre will host the main stage and Hilarity Bites Comedy stage and The Hullabaloo will host our very own NARC. magazine stage and the Noisy Daughters stage, plus there will be performances at the iconic St John’s Church stage.
Artists confirmed to play so far include psychedelic punk rockers The Lovely Eggs, Leeds’ dream folk band Sunflower Thieves, Darlington’s rising hip-hop star Luke Royalty, Newcastle folk duo Northering, indie rockers The Rills and electro folk queen Me Lost Me. Plus Komparrison, Wyldest, Sarah Johnsone, Joe Ramsay, Yabba, Callum Pitt, Common Courtesy and Nel Unlit among many more to be announced.
The festival will be done and dusted in time for punters to catch the last train home, and with tickets at a pocket-friendly £15+bf (and over 14s welcomed, accompanied by an adult), it promises to be a must attend event. Keep your eyes peeled for more line-up announcements, coming soon!
