For the past year Newcastle rappers Kay Greyson & Kema Kay have been working with arts and music development agency Northern Roots to seek out and support some of the North-East’s finest up and coming hip-hop talents.

On Tuesday 27th April, with funding from Arts Council England’s Cultural Recovery Fund, Youth Music and the Community Foundation the pair will be broadcasting a livestream performance to your screens from The Globe. The show will be headlined by themselves and will feature support from some of the hip-hop and grime artists they’ve been working with.

Performing will be singing and rapping duo Jay and Jasmine, 15 year old grime/drill artist Fabz, hip-hop and trap duo SBK, lyrical wizard Nitro, dark drill act R3 and dancers Hamim Kani and Igor Travares.

The event is free and can be watched via YouTube and Facebook.
