On Saturday 9th March, in celebration of International Women’s Day, MIMA presents GirlBoss – The Sound of International Women’s Day. Curated by artist, musician and writer Sally Rodgers of electro outfit A Man Called Adam, the day is packed full of inspirational sound, music, making and conversation that honours the achievements and contributions of those who identify as female who lead the way in the arts, business and more.

The day brings together DJ sets with special guests, including Sally Rodgers (AMCA) and Nic Coaker (Nrthrn Baby), alongside artist-developed playlists, and a series of talks and tours inspired by MIMA’s current exhibition Jacqueline Poncelet: In the Making.

The event takes place from 11am-3pm and is free and suitable for all ages.
