A showcase of real local creative talent and a smorgasbord of incredible work and colourful surroundings, with the theme this month a perfect way to spend a Friday 13th
The Night Market at Kommunity is almost a year old, with the Newcastle venue hosting the monthly event which celebrates emerging local artists and small businesses. The stalls are offered out to talented creatives for free and each event has generated real buzz, perfectly soundtracked by music provided by Oxjam and the next one arrives on Friday 13th July.
With Wildflower Creative Kitchen now heavily involved, and with the vegan cafe calling Kommunity home three days a week, the Night Market is aiming to go from strength to strength. The themes have been a key part and next up is Cabinet of Curiosities, bringing cabaret acts, circus acts, magic, gothic stalls, weird and wonderful art stalls, lots of skulls and curious things as well as a kids area and a fully vegan bar.
