Geordie Courtney Barnett, Melanie Baker’s ode to Arriva unravels into a slacker rock paean to the loneliness of the night bus and the hopefulness that can still be found on the back seats there. Lovely stuff. “I wrote this song after spending a lot of time on the bus. It’s a song about questioning who you are and what you want in life. I’d been reading a lot of Patti Smith’s work at the time and her words of wisdom really inspired a new spark of creativity within me to take a new journey with my music.”
