My problem with London Grammar has always been the repetitiveness of the band’s sound and at first this album seems to fall in to the same trap, but while they stay true to the style that captivated us for the first four tracks, reminding us of what we fell in love with in the first place, the rest of the album takes on a new identity. Everyone Else and Bones Of Ribbons show us how their music has evolved.

The same moody ideas are still there but with increased tempo, innovative sounds and depth. Non-Believer is the stand out, it really makes you move and the experimental vocal at its climax mingles superbly with lead singer Hannah’s deep tones.
