Formerly of the much lauded Taiwan Housing Project, Kilynn Lunsford has spent ages putting together a debut of true beauty, effervescent with life behind spartan dead eyes, transfixed in avant-garde pools of little-wave alt. experimentation.

Effortlessly drifting from monotone to high drama with minute inflections, delivery and intent are imbued with acres of emotion – it’s pop, yet it’s as far from that as humanly possible. These ideas have been cooking for quite some time in the oscillating mind of their progenitor, which has resulted in sparklingly complex gems that warp her sound, Three Babies Make Ten being a great example reversing repetitive paranoiac vocals that lead into the strident Vessel Creep. I’m gonna be playing this for a while.
