Following two packed‑out editions in March and November 2025 and to commemorate Trans Day of Visibility, Transtock returns to The Globe on 28th March for the third time — Newcastle’s first (and, it turns out, possibly the UK’s only) all‑day festival dedicated entirely to trans and non‑binary musicians. The first event sold out with Gaydar headlining and raised £900 for Be Trans Support, with the second, led by Bitchfinder General, close to selling out and raising a further £750.

This year’s line‑up is the biggest yet, featuring the finest trans artists from across the North-East & beyond, including Dinky Bossetti, The Timewasters, The Arcadias, Pegging Mitchell, Novyi Lef, Victim Unit, Leibniz, That Clare, Beth Warburton and Jade Mia Broadhead.

Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door, with 90% of proceeds going to Be Trans Support and the remaining 10% to The Globe. Get yours here.

Transtock is organised and curated by local singer‑songwriter and Dinky Bossetti frontwoman Jade Mia Broadhead who has also launched the Transtock Video Archive, capturing every act’s full HD set and interview with the aim of preserving trans voices and artists at a time when the community faces sustained hostility from politicians and right‑wing media. You can visit the archive here.
