Local noise rockers premiere their brand new Blank Sessions video
Having been lauded as one of the most popular live acts in the region of late, Tissue Culture have been relatively quiet on the release-front. That’s about to change though, thanks to the launch of their video for Rainbow Codes, marking the band’s first recorded material since 2012’s Saint Waleric.
A slow-burning anthem, Rainbow Codes’ angsty shouting and keening guitar spiral into a cacophony of layered sound, building with noisy vitriol and an impressive larynx-shredding vocal. The impassioned release is part of the Blank Studios Sessions; recorded by Chris McManus, it’s a recording that showcases the live energy the band have become known for.
Tissue Culture will play The Cluny, Newcastle on Saturday 3rd January.
