With their second EP out on Monday 21st March, The Great Curve offer up a sneak peak at what’s in store with a video for their song Buy On Cannons, Sell On Trumpets. With a performance at A Festival, A Parade‘s EP launch party at The Cluny alongside The Welcome Party to come on Saturday 19th March, the new video serves as the perfect way to whet your appetite for the exciting times ahead for by The Great Curve.

The song features all the melancholic, tortured goodness they do so well; shimmering guitars and shining vocals with a dark undercurrent are a taste of an EP from the alt indie band who have taken all the captivating guitar driven angst of the first EP and ran with it. The video directed by Alannah Lamb features suitably striking imagery to get completely swept away with, and is the ideal visual backdrop from the song.

The EP, recorded at Blank Studios with Sam Grant and the show at Cluny to come on Saturday may be the last the band offer up for a little while. A short break is to follow, as they work on their debut album and the members of this tremendously talented bunch work on both brand new and ongoing musical projects; so soak up all of The Great Curve you can for now.

The Great Curve play as part of A Festival, A Parade’s EP launch at Cluny, Newcastle on Saturday 19th March, and release their second EP on Monday 21st March.
