Talented Teesside-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Samantha Durnan returns with a brand new solo single, Find Myself. The track with it’s warm and folky, Kings Of Leon-esque sounding rhythm, euphoric chorus and Samantha’s harmonious, heavenly vocal, is the first of many (we hope) that will be released this year in the run up to her self-produced album.

The song is accompanied by a crisply shot, black and white video from Jodie Canwell, which we’re delighted to get the first look at.

Here, Samatha tells us more about the track and the video…

‘The track is about really throwing yourself at the world, waiting for the unknown to throw itself back to you so you can gain experience and learn more about your true self. Like anyone in their teens/early 20’s I didn’t really know which direction to go in, who I was or who I thought I needed to be. As I got older I realised the reality was that as long as we are living, the journey, experiences and lessons never end and we continue to find something new about ourselves everyday. I’m playing all of the instruments in the video which represents the journey in my own head and also the creative process of producing the track.’
