Video Exclusive: Psimitar – Fading (feat. Genesis Elijah)

Newcastle’s fusers of funk, soul and hip-hop, PSiMiTAR (aka Steesh and LKP), drop a vivid video to their vibrant brand new single, Fading, which features Brixton born rapper Genesis Elijah. 

We’re delighted to be given an exclusive look at this visual accompaniment, but first the duo tell us a little more about the track and the video….

“The single is a throwback 2000’s Ayia Napa style, UK garage-esque banger, featuring UK hip-hop legend Genesis Elijah. The song was created due to a mutual love of the UK Garage genre and a desire to make some upbeat summer tunes. Set in a dusky sunset backdrop for the video, the track really gives off that hot summer evening vibe and speaks about the feeling of the person you once were is slowly fading away, but also about how changing and growing is always a positive process. It focuses heavily on our desire to push a positive mental health message. The video was filmed locally by Steesh in the Northeast, around the area he grew up in.”
