Newcastle alt-rock outfit Nomad Anthem are set to drop their latest single, Where We Want To Be on Friday 28th October. The track is an enjoyable two-and-a-half-minute blast of sharp, punchy and pepped-up pop-punk with infectious riffs and animated vocals.
Ahead of its release we’re delighted to be given an exclusive look at the video that accompanies the track.
Here, the band tell us more about the song and the video…
Where We Want To Be is about getting back on the road and back on stage, exploring the thrills and emotions that made up our live experiences following the pandemic. Feelings of love, gratitude, highs, lows and anxieties, but it’s essentially just three guys trying to make the most of these opportunities and life experiences.
“We’ve prided ourselves on being a DIY band since we began in 2019 and with the song focussing around the concept of getting back to touring, it felt fitting to base the video around our journey back to the stage. The footage is mostly low-fi and filmed across our latest UK shows however we thought the feel of the video represents the raw punk rock underground scene and vibe that we all love and pride ourselves on being a part of.”
