Hartlepool’s alt-rockers give us an exclusive look at their live video from their session at Silk Recording Studio
Hailing from Hartlepool UK, alt-rock four piece Leopard Rays are a band very much on the rise having played Stockton Calling, Heelapolooza and Gathering Sounds Festivals, supported the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses and Estrons, as well as being playlisted on BBC Introducing’s Hotlist.
They release a live version of their track, Daydream, performed at All Silk Recording Studio and recorded and edited by Ed Hall. The recording features all the crunching riffs and punchy, reverb laden vocals that the band are known for, all nicely brought together by the warming, raw, ‘in session’ ambience.
Luke tells us a little more about the video, which the band have kindly given to NARC as an exclusive…
“It was a pleasant experience for us to get into a different environment far away from where we are based and get to play the track live. With having a day off in between live shows it was the perfect opportunity to capture our live sound on camera. We just hope we’ll be back playing live again soon.”
