Teesside alt-rockers SWEARS give us an exclusive listen to Bare Bones, their brand new single out on Wednesday 3rd April. The song with its snarling guitar, driving rhythms and punchy, yet haunting, vocal delivery dishes out four minutes of high-octane, on-the-brink, drive-time rock ‘n’ roll that’ll have you feeling cool AF as you strut down the street listening to it on your headphones.

Here the band tell us a little more about the track…

“A rhythmically pounding, anthemic rock n’ roll track, it takes you into the dark and murky world of SWEARS, describing a late-night drive undertaken as a desperate escape attempt by a narrator at breaking point. Aimless and futile yet raw and urgent, he finds his very being stripped down to its ‘bare bones’ at a moment of ‘outstanding understanding’.

Bare Bones was recorded at All Silk Recording Studio, Rawtenstall, and tracked, mixed and mastered by Ed Hall (of All Silk Mastering House).”
