Video Exclusive: NE-O featuring Eyeconic

One half of the North East grime/rap duo NE Dons, NE-O drops his new single Just Watch, which sees him team up with Teesside rapper, Eyeconic. Described as a ‘braggadocious solid crossover combo’ the track features a dark instrumental with a playful, summery groove that provides the backdrop for a confident vocal performance that sees both rappers assert themselves with sass and swagger. This conviction, alongside the slick production of both the track and video, makes this a music offering that should make both the North-East and national scene sit up and take notice.

We’re delighted to be give an exclusive look at the video to Just Watch, a release that as NE-O points out, demonstrates his progression as an artist, “I began writing this song as I wanted to flex my versatility and show that I’m more a rapper than simply a grime MC, this being my first song that people won’t consider ‘Grime’. When I’d written the chorus and my verses I couldn’t picture anyone other than Eyeconic on the feature and I think he smashed his verse and we’ve come out with a mainstream feeling UK Rap song, that hasn’t compromised either of our individual styles.”
