The University of Sunderland’s MA Fine Art Exhibition, entitled Kitsch22, will be showcasing work by graduating students, interim students and their artist in residence, Natalie Martin.
Exhibitions organised by MA students this year included We Stand With Ukraine in the Priestman gallery and MA Fine Art students also participated in projects with Sunderland Culture at the Northern Gallery of Contemporary Art.
This year Sunderland MA Fine Art student, Natasha Armstrong, exhibited a painting at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and other Sunderland MA Fine art and visual practice students have exhibited in The New Sunderland Creatives Gallery at the National Glass Center, Hills Art Center Sunderland, Pineapple Black, Middlesbrough and Newcastle Contemporary Art, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Exhibiting at Kitsch22, taking place at University Of Sunderland’s Priestman Building are Ellise Adams, Natasha Armstrong, Andrew Barge, Albert Bennet Cowell, Linda Candler, Su Devine, Tiana Dorian, Benjamin Gilchrist, Peter Hayes, Edward Hillier, Genevieve Justice, Ashlee Kennedy, Julie Lane, Natalie Martin and William Ramsay, Natalie Martin, Stuart Teears, Ash Tomlinson, Samantha Tweddle and Shannon Ward.
A private viewing for invited guests takes place Friday 23rd September (6 – 8pm) and the exhibition opens to the public from 24th– 30th September (open Saturday 10am – 3.30pm, Closed Sunday 25th September. Open Monday- Friday 10am- 5pm).
