Reliably informed

During lockdown, quite a few people realised that we can actually do our work in four days, instead of the antiquated five that has been unquestioned for well over a hundred years. Research and trials in big companies across the globe have backed this and so now it’s a case of implementing this revolutionary, but long overdue, pattern of working. Starting this week.

Tell your boss you won’t be in on Friday, that life is too short to be glued to a screen/run off your feet/feeling like a piece of shit and that your weekend starts Thursday night (28th October) with a trip to Little Buildings, Newcastle to watch Glasgow punk rockers SNASH.

The band’s ferocious sound (that encompasses punk, garage, hardcore, metal and indie rock), society challenging lyrics and intense live shows has put them at the forefront of their city’s guitar music renaissance. They’re the perfect way to kickstart your new work-life balance.

And as if that’s not enough riffaliciousness for you, then you’ll be pleased to find out that post-punk outfit Coax and one more act (yet to be announced) will be joining the fray.

Doors are at 7:30pm and tickets are £8 ADV (available here). Enjoy your three day weekend. You’ve earned it.
