Generator’s two legged tour of North and South kicks off at The Cluny on Thursday 17th January
North East by South West is a brand-new touring initiative from music development agency Generator for emerging artists looking to take their music out of their region and further afield. As the title suggests, it’s designed to support artists from the North East and South West of England, providing a financially risk-free environment for artists to grow their audiences and networks and professionalise their craft.
The artists were selected by a panel packed with industry titans (including Tom Robinson, IDLES and local promoters) and the line up for the Newcastle leg of the tour, taking place at The Cluny Newcastle on 17th February, includes electropunk artist Straight Girl, indie outfit The Peevie Wonders and Bristol’s anthem makers Saloon Dion.
The Bristol leg takes place the following evening (18th February) at The Louisiana. Tickets for both legs are free but booking is required. To get your tickets, click here.
