Tees promoter The Kids Are Solid Gold recently confirmed new German indie artist BROCKHOFF‘s debut UK headliner at Westgarth Social Club on Sunday 11th December.
The Hamburg-based musician has had a decent 2022, releasing her debut EP, Sharks, to rave reviews, followed by supporting Paolo Nutini at his three German shows and impressing so much that he invited her to open for the rest of his EU tour alongside his two UK dates in Liverpool (10th December) and Glasgow (13th December). More recently, BROCKHOFF released her latest single, Clearing up, which is accompanied by a nicely directed, free-flowing music video.
For those yet to have experienced it, BROCKHOFF’s sound is melodic and melancholic with a Stateside pop-sheen and a gritty rock edge to it with songs that explore “everyday banalities, decisions and emotional chaos.” This show will be a great opportunity to catch a quality music maker in their ascendancy in an intimate setting.
Supports for the evening are local talents in the form of bedroom-pop artist Cosial & singer-songwriter Jen Dixon, Tickets are available here.
