An evening of bitesize productions showcasing the scriptwriters selected for Blowin’ A Hooley Theatre’s development scheme takes place on Friday 30th September in North Shields
Haddaway & Write is an exciting new talent development scheme from award-winning Blowin’ A Hooley Theatre, in partnership with The Exchange Theatre and supported by Arts Council England. It’s part of the company’s ongoing commitment to improve access to theatre opportunities in the North East and saw them putting out an open call for budding scriptwriters in August.
The selected writers received script development support from award-winning Ashington-based writer, Sarah Tarbit and their work will be performed by a small troupe of professional local actors. You can catch these new bitesize regional stories on Friday 30th September at 7:30pm at The Exchange Theatre in North Shields. Tickets are Pay What You Decide but booking is essential (to book, click here).
Blowin’ A Hooley’s Associate Producer, Christopher Strain adds, “We’re really excited to be supporting original voices from across the region. I can’t wait for a local audience to see what we’ve been working on!”
