A weekend-long festival is set to take place in the beautiful hills of Northumberland from 15th-18th September
Set in the beautiful hills of Northumberland (Bellingham to be precise), BAAFest is a weekend of fantastic live music taking place 15th-18th September. The event features a sublime selection of performers spread across three stages, alongside workshops, stalls, on-site food, camping and a real ale bar.
On Thursday (15th September) festival hosts Fiona and Paul aka Landermason will be performing along with Dark Sky Voices in the Brownrigg Assembly Hall.
On Friday (16th September) folk-rockers Hadrians’s Union return from a three-year absence with a new lineup and a new sound. Also performing are QEHS Jazz Band and Miserable Les followed by a screening of the Rolling Stones film Shine a Light in the Assembly Hall after the performances.
On Saturday and Sunday (17th and 18th September) you can expect performances from the likes of Ranagri. Jon Doran and the Northern Assembly, The Hunch, Seafoam Green, Holly and The Reivers, Ben Tyzack, Bella Gaffney, Ivan Campo, Amelia Coburn, Katie Spencer, Bridie Jackson, Landermason, Calum Gilligan, Ian K Brown, Slow Town Clock, Old Red Eyes, Celia Bryce Band, Milton Hide and Time Bandits.
There’s also a competition where if you guess what the picture of a wooden construction in its early stages is going to be (see below), you’ll gain free entry into a Grand Prize Draw and the chance to win a handcrafted ukulele (by Paul Mason Ukuleles) along with many other great prizes.
