A multi-rolling, fast-paced, slapstick farce inspired by the classics of comedy comes to Blyth on 8th & 9th July
Whodunnit? Well in a new production from Arts Council-funded company Shoddy Theatre, nobody has a clue.
En route to the Edinburgh Fringe, A Shoddy Detective & The Art Of Deception comes to St Andrews Church Hall in Blyth on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th July. Written by local lad Mitch Donaldson, it tells the tale of a bumbling detective who is called upon to find out who stole a priceless painting. However, his inability to solve the crime leads him to enlist the help of an old nemesis and together, in a nod to many a classic crime caper, the pair must interrogate the many characterful suspects that reside at the manor and work out who the guilty party is.
