A quartet of quirky, interesting artists in Newcaste
The North East music scene is littered with quirky, interesting artists willing to push the envelope and produce music that’s inventive, engaging and memorable. Three such bands are set for a show at Think Tank? in Newcastle on Saturday 18th March.
Waskerley Way brings off-kilter electronics and beguiling found sounds alongside warped melodies. With ‘barely rap’ duo Outside Your House also on the bill, you’re getting a real slice of the leftfield sounds that have been popping up more and more in our region’s music scene. Rounding it all out is the post-punk noise of the glorious Massa Confusa, the DIY duo are a solid addition and the analogue synth screams of Novyi Lef, which all makes for a bit of a special show.
