Lockdown has been tough on touring artists and has seen many utilising the internet to put on some interesting and exciting events. One of these is folk outfit The Unthanks who will be bringing us a whole weekend of activity from 26th-28th February as part of their The Unthanks Winter Onliner

Inspired by the absence of their annual singing weekend, The Onliner will feature exclusive new performances, new short films, podcasts, workshops, archive performances, Q&As, family content and a whole load more. It’s a feast of fun for fans of the band, both old and new. Alongside the main stage that will show all the key content, there will also be session rooms including sing around rooms, chat rooms (where members of The Unthanks might even drop in) and even a storytelling and poetry room to create a space where people can connect, interact and have a good time.

Tickets are available via the bands Crowdfunder. As well as regular weekend tickets for the event, there are 550 participant tickets for sale, which will get you a 75 minute zoom choir workshop session with the band, prior to the weekend. There is also a load of other rewards and goodies to purchase, including brand new t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts to wear during the event, and The Unthanks’ Kitchen and Song books.
