Reliably informed

Since opening in 2022, Newcastle’s DIY music and events space, The Lubber Fiend has been showcasing the best and boldest music acts, as well as hosting markets, cinema events, record and art fairs, talks and a variety of other lovely and inspiring events to benefit the region.

Like a lot of other music venues around the UK, the Lubber Fiend relies on donations to keep their doors open and to keep their programming eclectic, weird and, of course, fun. They are asking audiences, artists and activists to support the venue by donating £5, £10, or whatever you can afford every month.

If you’d like to support The Lubber Fiend, then click here and select ‘make this a monthly donation’ to keep helping them in the long term. Also, heading down to catch a gig or two every month and telling your friends and family about what a cool place it is, will also help keep this important cultural establishment open and continue to offer a much-needed platform or creative space to benefit local artists.
