There’s a glorious chance to have a Saturday night out in aid of a good cause this Saturday 25th June, as a charity show for local autism cause Inspiring Events CIC comes to Cluny 2, Newcastle. As well as benefiting something truly worthy, there’s a wonderful chance to have a bit of an indie dance too.

It’s all headlined by Inspiral Carpets singer Tom Hingley‘s newest project, a tribute band, to Inspiral Carpets themselves. The Kar-Pets; who will play all the best tracks the Madchester legends built a career on. The Kar-Pets are playing with support from The Madchester Sound System DJs, Tom Mouse Smith, Bob Douglas and One Eyed Jack. This is going to be an unmissable opportunity to get up close and personal with a true Britpop legend.

With money going to Inspiring Events CIC, it’s a great cause which raises money to put on groups and clubs for people on the autism spectrum – these opportunities plug the gaps left by government cuts. It’s a gig which offers so much fun, and the chance to give something back without any effort, it all makes for a perfect Saturday night out.

The Kar-Pets play Cluny 2, Newcastle on Saturday 25th June.
