All day festival The Gathering Sounds returns to Stockton on Saturday 25th September, and today organisers have announced the line-up for The Green Room stage.

Heading the bill are south coast indie rockers Crystal Tides, who have earned themselves a well deserved fanbase thanks to their fusion of jangly guitars and catchy Foals-meet-Wombats style. They’ll be joined by contemporary indie band Sad Boys Club and three of the North East’s finest racket makers in the form of pop punkers St. Buryan, ‘Boro alt. rockers Emu and thrillingly loud euphoric rock band Motherland.

The Green Room line-up joins the already announced cohort of stages at KU and KU2, ARC and The Georgian Theatre, with further announcements to come from The Storytellers. Already announced to perform at what will be one of the first full capacity festivals in the region are Red Rum Club, The Mysterines, Sophie & The Giants, Kid Kapichi, Himalayas, Bull, The Clause, The K’s, Andrew Cushin, Weird Milk, Finn Forster, Low Hummer, Jango Flash, Big Society, The Crooks, Dead Pony, Joe Ramsey, King Nun, Komparrison, Serotones, The Native, Plastic Glass, Michael Gallagher, Rats, Sky Valley, Mistress and Sugar Roulette.

Tickets are a bargain at just £19 (+bf) available from See Tickets or ARC.
