The play, by Gordon Steel is the story of a village who due to press pressure, sees all hell break loose when it’s discovered the small Lincolnshire town doesn’t have a war memorial. Determined to right a wrong, tenacious Nicola Pike leads a village committee that could tear the community apart, with the town’s residents having their own priorities, not to mention there’s a fete just around the corner.

Set across two time frames, this touching, thoughtful, heartbreaking and hilarious play is getting a good run, as it should prove very popular, as a beautiful story, great writing and top acting, bring this story which is based in truth to life.

The Fulstow Boys is at ARC, Stockton from Thursday 6th until Sunday 15th September.
