The team at Stockton’s Ku Bar and Storytellers have pulled together a cracking line-up to serenade your May bank holiday. On Sunday 3rd May, the two venues will be home to raucous indie rock, thrilling punk, epic post-rock and everything in between in the third annual Sunday Live event.

Taking to the stages will be Welsh rockers Pretty Vicious, whose catchy and raw rock stylings have seen them lauded by those in the know, not to mention bagging them a Virgin EMI record deal; local lush pop scamps Lisbon throw their irresistible pop gems into the mix alongside Rat Boy’s powerful blend of hip-hop, indie and rock. Brighton’s irrepressible melody makers The Magic Gang; Middlesbrough-based psych-drenched songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Corey Bowen & The Midnight Dolphins; epic post-rockers Abel Raise The Cain; indie blues rockers Cellar Door and local indie band Violet Deep also join the full-on fun.

With tickets costing a mere £8 in advance, we fail to see how your Bank Holiday could get any better.

Sunday Live takes place at Ku Bar and Storytellers, Stockton on Sunday 3rd May.
