Following a successful first outing back in June, Stubborn Sounds is returning to The Tyne Bar on Sunday 20th August for a second night of smartly curated live music, with all proceeds raised (entry is free, but donations are recommended) going to the North East Autistic Society.

Headlining this time around are Glasgow/Newcastle dream-poppers Life Model. Their first show since the release of their latest EP Lucky (and since a superb showing at NARC. Fest), it’s a treat to be able to catch the band in such an intimate venue. A consistently energetic and joyous live act, you can expect them to be as fine an end to the weekend as you can get.

Joining them are fellow shoegaze revivalists Tchotchke, the recording and performing project of Leon Tighe. Having made a big impact last year with a series of releases including the Lost & Found EP and shows at Oxjam Takeover and Evolution Emerging, Tchotchke have had a quieter 2017 so far, which only makes this chance to see them live all the more special.

Rounding out the bill are Rushers of Din, an O’Messy Life offshoot that promises noisy and chaotic indie rock in classic nineties American style.

Stubborn Sounds is at Tyne Bar, Newcastle on Sunday 20th August.
