Taking place at 11 venues across Stockton on Saturday 16th April, all-day festival Stockton Calling today announce the headliner for The Georgian Theatre stage.

Fast becoming an iconic star thanks to her forthright songwriting and experimental pop sound, Rebecca Lucy Taylor’s music as Self Esteem has taken the patriarchy by the balls and given it a damn good shake. Previously of indie band Slow Club, her solo material is by turns anthemic, self-aware and catchy as hell; Self Esteem is a force to be reckoned with, and her live show will be a must-see moment of the festival.

Georgian Theatre’s programming and operations manager Chris Cobain said: “I’m super excited we managed to book Self Esteem to headline The Georgian Theatre stage, Rebecca has been a musician I’ve always loved, Self Esteem is a totally different sound and energy from Slow Club and the set is going to be one hell of a party to finish off the day.”
