The next stage to be announced for Stockton Calling this year has had its line-up released, and with conceptual indie art-rock ensemble British Sea Power set to headline, The Georgian Theatre stage is making a claim for being one of the most impressive of the festival.

The tenth anniversary of the festival features the much-acclaimed band alongside hotly tipped guitar-poppers whenyoung, London alternative rockers Childcare, Irish grunge band Just Mustard, gothic darkwave from Darlington’s The Black Sheep Frederick Dickens, Leeds’ fuzzy experimentalists Team Picture, dark garage rock from Fire (The Unstoppable Force), and electronic alt-pop from Newcastle’s Twist Helix.

Stages programmed by North East promoters The Kids Are Solid Gold, Into Tomorrow, and ourselves here at NARC Magazine have already been announced.

The full-line up so far can be found at www.stocktoncalling.co.uk with the rest of the programme to be announced over the next two weeks.

Tickets are priced at £25 in advance and can be purchased from ARC’s Box Office on 01642 525199 or online at www.arconline.co.uk and www.stocktoncalling.co.uk.
