Prepping for their benchmark set at Download Festival in the summer, Teesside five-piece

Sirens In The Delta are heading out on a tour that sees them stop off for a hometown gig in Middlesbrough. The sassy rockers will be lighting up the infamous Mixtape dance floor at The Keys on Tuesday 5th May with their infectious raw sounds as part of a busy warm up for their day at Donington.

Handpicked by Download’s booker Andy Copping to win the Rock The House Discretionary Rock/Metal 2014 Award, Sirens In The Delta earned their place on the line-up where they’ll be joined by headliners Slipknot, Muse and Kiss. This feisty female-fronted band echo the sounds of Pearl Jam, Queens Of The Stone Age and Smashing Pumpkins and have been catching the ears of those in the know since the release of their single Paris last year. They’ll be joined at Mixtape by synth rockers Deaf FM, and the gig offers a chance to grab a closer look at one of the best up and coming bands in the North East before they take on one of rock’s biggest festivals.
