Indie promoters This Feeling have revealed their headline artist for this year’s Stockton Calling festival, which takes place across Stockton on Saturday 16th April. The promoters have a knack for picking up the hottest new talent around, and their choice to headline The Storytellers stage doesn’t disappoint.
Liverpool-based anthemic indie four-piece RATS will bring their infectious and raw sound to Stockton. Having been praised for their heartfelt lyricism and music which defines the drama, turmoil and joy of 21st Century living, the band’s live shows are rip-roaring and energy-filled, bursting with personality.
The band join a festival line-up which also includes fellow headliners fellow headliners HYYTS, The Mysterines, Plastic Glass, Venus Grrrls, Self Esteem, Bob Vylan, Komparrison, The Pigeon Detectives and The Reytons, with other acts recently confirmed including The Let Go, Courting, Stone, The Zen Arcade, Shambolics, Duck, CVC, Frankie Beetlestone, Cara Rose, English Teacher, bigfatbig, Faye Fantarrow, Joe Ramsey, Leopard Rays, Luke Royalty, Michael Gallagher, Moon Wax, Mt. Misery, MXYM, Nel Unlit, Ocean Floor, Pit Pony, Samantha Durnan, Sarah Johnsone, Shore, stebee, The Shakin’ Nightmares, Wax Heart Sodality, We Tibetans and ZELA.
