A quartet of quality noise makers come to The Old Police House
New promoters Against The Grain are on their sophomore show already, after a very successful start to their fledgling careers. They’ve pulled together another special selection of noise makers for a show at The Old Police House in Gateshead on Saturday 18th June.
Experimental death metallers Plague Rider will be banging out their frenetic guitars and blistering percussion alongside sludgy-stoner-doom improv duo Lovely Wife. There’s circuit bending noise artist Platemaker, and lo-fi noise guitar and tape performer Drearian, all set to play the perfectly intimate confines the unique Gateshead venue offers up. The duo of Ally Morton (Massa Confusa) and Chris Watson (Snakes Don’t Belong In Alaska / BCxDC) who make up Against The Grain should be commended for a phenomenal DIY ethos and work ethic which should make for some mighty fine shows this Saturday and beyond.
