Four of our best and brightest represent our region at the Leeds and Reading Festivals for BBC Introducing
A quartet of bands from our region are off to Leeds and Reading Festivals, which take place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th August. Coquin Migale, Eat Fast, Mouses and Avalanche Party have all been selected to play the BBC Introducing stage, and they’re set to do our region very proud.
This is a huge opportunity for this fantastic foursome to reach a wider audience, and all four bands have made huge strides in such a short space of time, that bigger steps forward like this are to be expected. Introducing North East selected the melodic indie of Coquin Migale and the scuzzy garage rock sounds of Eat Fast, while flying the flag for Teesside are the gloriously quirky, avant-garde pop of Mouses and the raw, fast and loud sounds of the punky Avalanche Party. For those going to Leeds or Reading Festival from the North East, it’ll be exciting to watch some local favourites storm it on the big stage, and for the bands themselves, well done, now go have the best fun and show people what our phenomenal music scene is all about!
