The fifth and final episode in series one of NARC. TV features two particularly melodious performances. Enjoy the gospel-blues stomp of The Dead Seat, filmed at The Forum Music Centre in Darlington, and the astonishing vocal talents of songwriter Faye Fantarrow, filmed at Independent in Sunderland.
The full series is now available to view on our YouTube channel, where you can enjoy performances and interviews with Ceiling Demons, Girl From Winter Jargon, bigfatbig, Mt. Misery, Wax Heart Sodality, Shakk, Eyeconic, Marketplace, Plastic Glass, The Dead Seat and Faye Fantarrow.
But that’s not it from series one! We’ll be unveiling some exclusive tracks, extended interviews and more bloopers (yes, we really did make that many mistakes) via our Facebook and Instagram pages over the coming weeks.
Given the woes of the world right now, we’ve been so pleased to bring you some light relief on NARC. TV over the last two months. The programmes were devised to provide a much-needed outlet for North East musicians during a time when live performances were not possible, and with that looking unlikely to change as we move into 2021 we’re hopeful we can continue to provide a platform for artists and entertainment for audiences.
