Reliably informed

Without a doubt one of my favourite events to curate, I’m pretty darn chuffed about our line-up for Stockton Calling this year. Taking over the entire town on Saturday 26th March, with over 60 bands playing across eight venues, the one-day festival turns the Teesside town into a musical mecca. Our Green Room stage is small but perfectly formed, and as always, crammed full of amazing local talent.

Topping the bill this year are Krautophonic blizzard-wave duo Warm Digits, who will blow your socks off with their special blend of live drums, guitar and electronics, combined with awe-inspiring visuals. Theirs is a set not to be missed! Also bringing the noise are Teesside scene stalwarts and all-round party throwers Be Quiet. Shout Loud; Newcastle riff-monsters Drifts, whose classy cuts of melodic heaviness are sure to pack the room; The Golden Age of Nothing, who present shimmering slabs of gothic psychedelia; hotly-tipped Newcastle alt. rockers Coquin Migale; the lushly imagined shoegaze of Old Prides; folk trio Secret of the Whipt, the new project of By Toutatis’ Ben Muriel; Hartlepudlian intelligent alt. pop quintet Antlez and gothic-electro two-piece Black Sheep Frederick Dickens.

With another seven stages crammed to bursting with eclectic live music, you’d be a fool to miss out! Tickets are on sale now, priced at £16.50 advance.

Stockton Calling takes place on Saturday 26th March.
