Stockton Calling returns on Saturday 11th April and the line-up is already absolutely stonking after only a handful of announcements. Already confirmed are the likes of Sophie & The Giants, Llovers, Weird Milk, Vandebilt, Hector Gannet, Eve Conway, Joe Ramsey, Salsola, Jodie Nicholson, The K’s, Red Rum Club, The Mysterines, Benefits, Mt. Misery, Plastic Glass and loads more (and that’s only two stages worth).

As always, the NARC. Green Room stage will focus on some of the most exciting bands and artists from the North East, and we’re pretty thrilled with this year’s line-up. Teesside songwriter Tom Joshua heads up proceedings; his genre-fluid emotive sound resulted in sold out shows in 2019, and alongside a full band Tom’s enriching sound is spellbinding. Also seeking to rivet listeners to the spot is cellist Ceitidh Mac, whose progressive alt. folk is otherworldly and beguiling; mysterious baroque garage rockers Wax Heart Sodality are guaranteed to provide one of the stand out performances of the day; taking things on a more experimental trip is loop artist Girl From Winter Jargon, while hotly tipped rapper Abi Nyxx will demonstrate her lyrical prowess and all-grrrl trio bigfatbig offer up catchy attitude-ridden grungy pop rock. Hartlepool/Middlesbrough’s Palace Watson provide more effervescent alt. rock sounds; while Darlington’s The Dead Seat bring bittersweet Southern Gothic to the party.

Over the last several years the festival has sold out in advance, so don’t delay in buying your tickets!
