Reliably informed

It’s fair to say that Micky P Kerr has had quite an astronomical career. After starting out as a musician playing the pub scene, he turned his hand to stand-up comedy, mixing both talents into a chuckle-worthy blend of gags and melodies. It was a winning combination for the Britain’s Got Talent judges, as he breezed his way all the way to the final.

On the back of his reality TV success, Kerr has recently been touring his one-man show Z-List Celebrity, but heads to The Shoe Cake Comedy Club at Stockton’s Georgian Theatre on Thursday 20th June for a one hour preview of his upcoming Edinburgh Fringe show. While he might be testing out some brand new material, Kerr’s charming personality on stage, ability to win over an audience and his imaginative take on the format means that it’ll still be a thoroughly winning, laugh-a-minute experience.

The night will also feature a special extended outing from resident rib-tickling troupe The Discount Comedy Checkout. Their improv shenanigans – all formed by suggestions from the audience – will see them creating humorous scenarios and characters in quick-draw fashion. It’s a bill that will keep you guessing, with hilarity guaranteed.
