Endless Window – aka promoter, writer and regular NARC. scribe Mark Corcoran-Lettice – is back at The Globe in Newcastle again this month with another double header of brilliantly off-beat local bands.

This time, expect some scuzzy goodness from one of the region’s hardest working duos Massa Confusa, as they bring their perfectly formed post-punk to the venue. Their recent single Forget was a meaty slab of thunderous guitars, some brilliantly catchy yet dark lyrics and electronic melodies that recently lit up Evolution Emerging. It’s also the Durham band’s last gig of the summer, so make sure you grab your chance to see them now. Joining them on the night are mysterious Sunderland-Newcastle duo Nano Kino, who also put on a triumphant set at Evo a few weeks ago. They are perfect for any fans of Slowdive, Broadcast and Tame Impala, and are already an extremely juicy prospect for the future.

You can of course expect all the usual shenanigans from an Endless Window night, including the opportunity to pull some alternative shapes with the DJ set, playing everything from funk and soul to pop, alt-indie, psych and electronic.

Massa Confusa and Nano Kino play at The Globe, Newcastle on Friday 26th June.
