Not content with managing to redefine the ways in which audiences engage with arts in the UK, top class theatre company Manchester Collective bring their new show Pierrot Lunaire to Cobalt Studios, Newcastle on Thursday 15th November.

The daring and incredibly original production, is a stage show set around a stark four poster bed, and is filled with musical madness with strange and beautiful wildness. It’s all narrated by Radio 6 voice Elizabeth Alker, and is set to be a controversial and polarising viewing, with the work filled with raw nastiness tackling through songs themes of madness, sex, dreams and trauma. It’s a script and performance that doesn’t let you settle, and crafts beauty from places you wouldn’t expect it.

It’s a unique English translation through top class artists of some mesmerising work that Cobalt Studios have done so well in pulling in.
