If you’re looking for something a little different on a night out, look no further than fully interactive live music quiz event Late ‘n’ Live, which makes its debut at Jesmond’s Holy Hobo on Wednesday 22nd February.

The brainchild of recent graduates and local musicians Maria Winter and Sam Harris, the unique pub quiz/live music hybrid event will feature a live band of talented local musicians, with audience members testing their music knowledge by answering a series of genre-based/artist-specific questions asked and played by Late ‘n’ Live’s resident band, who play along to every single question.

Late ‘n’ Live is a multifaceted immersive music experience, wherein audience members are presented with an exclusive opportunity to learn, listen and win some quality prizes throughout the night. From a retro 80s round, to a missing lyric brainteaser, then to a chart-topper competition and even more, Late ‘n’ Live plans on testing your brain while treating you to a live music show.

Ahead of its inaugural event opening, Late ‘n’ Live co-founder Maria said: “With Late ‘n’ Live, our mission is to celebrate the inherent creativity within the North East, while providing an exciting opportunity to re-invest into the local entertainment scene.

The duo are also partnering on a female-led safe space events company, Mariasam Events, which aims to create a more transparent, inclusive and diverse creative industry.

Late ‘n’ Live takes place at Holy Hobo, Jesmond on Wednesday 22nd February.
