Kitty, Daisy and Lewis are heading to Stockton for the latest instalment in the town’s burgeoning arts, music and festival scene. Stockton Stages makes use of the various pubs, clubs, halls and theatres across the town to provide comedy, music and family fun.
The band performs at The Georgian Theatre on Saturday 8th June; as one of Stockton’s most artistically and historically significant venues, the Grade II listed building is perfectly befitting of their unblemished, analogue sound.
The revered trio are now armed with their acclaimed new album Superscope, which was released towards the end of last year. Their story is an interesting one, being born into a family including the drummer from The Raincoats and an engineer at The Exchange studio in London. Having been precocious young talents back in 2006, the talented siblings have matured into multi-faceted musicians with a dedicated following. Spanning across genres and styles, their music has earned them admirers such as Amy Winehouse and David Lynch. Effortlessly switching between soul, blues, jazz, ska and country, each performer is adept on a similarly eclectic range of instruments, rotating between different pieces of musical equipment and adding an air of unpredictability to proceedings.
