There’s a special gig set for this Thursday 27th April at The Butterfly Cabinet, with the intimate venue hosting some of the North East’s most intriguing and inventive acts. Singer-songwriter vibes and a bit of raucously fun noise set up this gig at the Heaton venue to be a memorable one.

Kieran Rafferty brings his off-kilter pop sensibilities and sumptuously original piano driven melodies to what should feel like perfect surroundings. With the folksy power pop of Rhys Patterson and some wonderfully noisy alt pop from Slurs, this is a gig to get you over that midweek hump. These are three acts that if you’ve not seen before make for an eclectic and engaging show, and are definitely three lots of talent on the rise.

Kieran Rafferty, Slurs and Rhys Patterson play Butterfly Cabinet, Newcastle on Thursday 27th April.
