Two more of the best comedians on the comedy circuit are to stop by ARC in Stockton on Saturday 23rd July, as Gavin Webster and Jo Caulfield preview the shows they’ll be taking up to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August.

A regular face on TV shows like Mock The Week, Jo Caulfield takes a look at life’s potential traps in her new show Pretending To Care. Smart as ever, she takes a wry look at the how infuriating people and life really are, as you pretend to play the game and humour them. Some of the sharpest comedy writing around make her a real stand-out, and just a joy to listen to. Gavin Webster has an equally brilliant mind, but his constant veering towards the absurd and the silly have made him a favourite amongst many comedy fans for a long time. Winner of the 2014 Comedians’ Comedian Of The Year, the respect his peers give him is another indication of his utter brilliance at making people laugh. His new hour, Jesus Christ’s A Window Cleaner Now looks at how we all end up window cleaners in the end.

Two comics, two shows, and a whole lot of laughs in store. Ed Bangers! season at ARC has yet again really outdone itself.
